You Can Buy Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch

TIME

The world-famous former home of pop star Michael Jackson is now on the market.

Neverland Ranch, now known more mundanely as Sycamore Valley Ranch, is up for sale for a cool $100 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. Jackson bought the 2,700-acre estate in Los Olivos, Calif. for $19.5 million in 1987 and lived there until the mid-2000s, when financial troubles forced him to leave the location.

Unfortunately, the amusement park rides and zoo animals that made Neverland Ranch famous are now gone, though there is still at least one llama on the premises for some reason. The train station and railroad tracks that Jackson built are also still on the property.

Don’t expect this to become the next Graceland, though. The person selling the ranch is specifically looking for a buyer who doesn’t plan to turn the place into a museum for the singer.

Lena Dunham On Girls Racial Backlash: ‘It Was an Educational, Painful Process for Me’

TIME

Lena Dunham, the creator and star of HBO’s Girls, understands the criticism she faced after the show’s first season concerning the overwhelmingly white cast that seemingly misrepresented the reality of a multicultural Brooklyn.

While speaking on The Hollywood Reporter‘s Comedy Actress Roundtable, Dunham explained, “I had been thinking so much about sort of representing weirdo girls and chubby girls and strange half-Jews that I had forgotten that there was an entire world of women who were being underserved.”

She said she learned that, “It is our job as creators to represent more than our own experience and to represent more than what we’ve seen.” She also expressed gratitude toward those who made her aware of her duty, saying, “It ultimately made the show better and made me stronger as a feminist and an activist and a thinker.”

Dunham noted a particular experience of overt sexism between her and…

Watch the First Trailer for the Point Break Remake

TIME

Johnny Utah is back in action.

The first trailer for the upcoming Point Break remake highlights the new twist on the 1991 film, which stars Luke Bracey as FBI Agent Johnny Utah (played by Keanu Reeves in the original film) and Edgar Ramirez as Bodhi (Patrick Swayze in the original).

“Like me, the people behind these robberies are extreme athletes,” Utah says in the trailer, as he describes a group of criminals led by Bodhi. To stop them, he must become one of them.

“I’ve never worked so hard on anything in my life as for the preparation and filming of this movie,” Bracey told The Hollywood Reporter last August, in the midst of the shoot. “I am giving it everything I’ve got. It’s a five-month shoot. I’m going to leave nothing on the path, and when I get to the end of it, I’ve got to be able to…

The fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise is set to premiere next month, and Director Colin Trevorrow has given hopeful fans the news on the fearsome (and synthetic) 50-ft. by 18-ft. dinosaur known as Indominus Rex.

“There’s always something around the corner that will make whatever you think is cool right now feel obsolete. And I feel like the Indominus Rex is the animal version of that,” Trevorrow says.

Trevorrow says that fans hungry for a vicious “killer” dinosaur got what they demanded: “It’s bigger, faster, louder, more vicious.”
